API-based assessment on urban air environment bearing capability in China

Jinnan WANG,Jing ZHANG,Hongqiang JIANG,Yaling LU

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2015, Volume 9, Issue 6,   Pages 1049-1055 doi: 10.1007/s11783-014-0662-0

Abstract: Given the complexity and time-consuming of the conventional environmental capacity based assessment on airenvironment carrying capacity; a new method for assessing urban air environment carrying capacity basedon air pollution index (API) is presented.By using this new method, the air environmental bearing capability of 333 cities at the prefecture levelThe assessment results imply that the existing air quality standard (GB3095-1996) is quite unsound.

Qingli Zhang, Renjie Chen, Guanjin Yin, Xihao Du, Xia Meng, Yang Qiu, Haidong Kan, Maigeng Zhou

Engineering 2022, Volume 14, Issue 7,   Pages 156-162 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2021.05.006

Abstract:

A composite Air Health Index (AHI) is helpful for separately emphasizing the health risks of multipleWe aimed to establish a new AHI by integrating daily mortality risks due to air pollution with thosetime-series models, the new AHI was constructed as the sum of excess mortality risk associated with airOn average, air pollution and non-optimum temperature were associated with 28.23% of daily excess mortality

A total torque index for dynamic performance evaluation of a radial symmetric six-legged robot

Kejia LI, Xilun DING, Marco CECCARELL

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2012, Volume 7, Issue 2,   Pages 219-230 doi: 10.1007/s11465-012-0320-9

Abstract:

This article focuses on the dynamic index and performance of a radial symmetric six-legged robot.A novel index of total torque is proposed by considering the posture of the supporting legs. The new index can be used to optimize the leg’s structure and operation for consuming minimum powerMain influences are outlined as well as the usefulness of the proposed performance index.
